At Cary First, our purpose is clear: We exist to demonstrate the love and share the good news of Jesus Christ every day, everywhere, with everyone.As we seek to live this out, we invite you to join us in a dedicated season of prayer and fasting during the 40 days of Lent leading up to Easter. From March 5 to April 17, we ask you—both as individuals and as families—to participate in seeking what only God can do.

 

Our prayer is that God will ignite a passion within us to share the gospel, serve our community, and make disciples. We are asking Him for transformation and breakthrough, believing that this season will leave a lasting impact on our church and beyond.

 

Throughout these 40 days, we encourage you to pray with your life groups, with your family, and in your personal time with the Lord. Remember: Little prayer leads to little power, but much prayer leads to much power.

 

To conclude this season, we will gather for a special Good Friday service on April 18 at 6:00 PM, followed by a 24-hour reading of the New Testament and Psalms. From April 18 at 7:00 PM to April 19 at 7:00 PM, we will take turns reading Scripture, uniting our voices in the truth of God’s Word. We invite you to sign up for a time slot and be part of this powerful experience.

 

Our prayer is that through this time of fasting and intercession, God will renew, restore, and refocus our hearts for His glory. Let’s press in together and believe for a mighty move of God.
