Happy
Hearts
At Cary First Baptist Church, our senior adults are known as “Happy Hearts.”
“A happy heart makes the face cheerful.” -Proverbs 15:13a
We are a big part of the many ongoing ministries of the church. The Happy Hearts meet monthly for lunch, fellowship, education, or inspirational programs. We have missions or ministry activities, such as bringing items to donate to various church community ministries or ministering to our church’s homebound.
Occasionally the Happy Hearts will go out for lunch, take a day trip, or a multiple-day trip going to various places of interest. We have taken cruises, gone on mission trips, and have been involved in various mission activities in Cary.
We welcome anyone from Cary First or friends!

About the Senior Adult
Ministry
There’s an idea that being a senior adult means you’ve neared the end of your usefulness. Rather, we believe our senior adults have the wisdom and experience to disciple and shepherd the church. At Cary First Baptist Church, our Senior Adult ministry exists to bring out our best players who can teach and be an example to the rest of the church about being a follower of Jesus Christ.
Cary First Senior Adults is a community of loving and caring seniors with a wide variety of interests, talents, and life experiences who are drawn together by the common thread of faith in Christ. We contribute to the life of the church by sharing our own lives and showing others how to live the Christian life together.
